The total outturn was 78993 in the year 2005 among which engineering postgraduates was 4312, engineering graduates 47916 and diploma holders 26765.
The Teacher-Students ratio in degree institutions was in the order of 1:18 and in diploma institutions it was 1:21.

25% of Graduates in Civil Engineering, 23% in Industrial Engineering and 43% of Production Technology got placements only after a waiting period of two years.
